At the request
of the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office, Beinhauer Family Funeral
Homes through their affiliated cemetery, Woodruff Memorial Park &
Community Mausoleum will be donating their services, personnel, and three
burial plots in order to provide a respectful Christian Burial for three
unidentified, unclaimed women’s bodies.
The burial
ceremonies will take place at 2 PM on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Woodruff
Memorial Park & Community Mausoleum, located at 2095 Washington Road, (Route 19) Canonsburg, PA
15317. The Clergy Officiant will be the Reverend
Thomas Hamilton, Pastor of the Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church.
The
circumstances surrounding the deaths of the three women are still under
investigation by the Medical Examiner’s Office and other law enforcement
agencies. The ongoing attempts to
identify the women will continue through the use of Federal, State and local
data bases(NamUs -- Doe Network -- NCIC Federal Data Base), and the FBI.
Beinhauer
Family Funeral Homes will be donating all services, the services of the
staffs of the Beinhauer Family Funeral Homes; and Woodruff Memorial Park
& Community Mausoleum,two of
the caskets for the deceased,expense
for the hearses; and Funds
for the three burial plots are being provided through the Beinhauer Family
Foundation
Wilbert Burial Vault Company of Pittsburgh, through owner
Kevin Pintar, has donated the three burial vaults. One of the caskets was obtained from the
Society of St. Vincent DePaul. The
Reverend Thomas Hamilton will be donating his services for the prayer committal
ceremonies. Discussions concerning
placement of permanent flush bronze markers are underway with Matthews Bronze
of Pittsburgh.
Beinhauers
recently added Webcasting capabilities to their services options which will
enable to public to view the committal ceremonies on-line after the event.
